Voyager - Runaway Tour

Badlands Bar | Friday, 12 February 2021

If you are not familiar with Voyager let me fill you in. They are legends amongst the Perth hard rock scene, having toured extensively, shared the stage with other greats like Deftones, Nightwish and Opeth. Their music is by their admission, “epic electro progressive power pop-metal” and in February we get to see that in all its brilliance when they finally take the stage to promote their last album, “Colours in the Sun”. This gig was rescheduled from last May which I bet a lot of people have been hanging out for. With each release, Voyager keeps getting better, producing melodic prog rock earworms. Knowing their fans and their stage shows, this is going to be an epic night.

KISS OFF - The Ultimate KISS Party

Amplifier Bar | Friday, 12 February 2021

What’s more rock ‘n’ roll that OP glam rockers KISS? Recognised as one of the most influential rock groups in the world has inspired the likes of Foo Fighter’s Dave Grohl and The Root’s Questlove the KISS Army. This month Amplifier Bar will play host with The Ultimate KISS Party featuring Kissteria, Sisters Doll and DJ Jordan Adam. Expect to hear amazing rock songs like I Was Made For Lovin’ You, Rock And Roll All Nite and God Gave Rock ‘N’ Roll To You. It’s everything I’d want - rock big songs, extravagant makeup, costumes and a hedonistic celebration of the power of rock. There will also be prizes for best costumes so gather up your Army and party on.

Us & Them perform Pink Floyd “Dark Side Of The Moon”

Badlands Bar | Friday, 19 February 2021

So I’ve had a few people tell me I have to get down to see these guys if I get the chance, and this is the month.  Us & Them, a full band that includes Steve Hensby, Matt Geary and Josh Dyson will be bringing Pink Floyd’s magnificent “Dark Side Of The Moon” to life. I had the chance to see Roger Waters on his last tour through Perth and there is a phenomenal difference between listening to Pink Floyd and hearing their songs live. More than a gig, it will be an absolute ripper of a show and with these gigs known to sell out, I would sort your tickets out now.
