Christmas in the City

Get set for some festive cheer in the city, the home of Christmas, with three of the best fun and free family activities. Top of your list needs to be the City of Perth Christmas Lights Trail winding its way through the city from 20 November. Pick your adventure from four journeys – CBD (red and blue trails), Northbridge, East End and West End, or better yet, do them all! 30 stops on the trail this year means 30 chances to nail that silly season selfie!

Next up on your Christmas calendar, the Alinta Energy Christmas Pageant will be delighting our jolly juniors, albeit in a different format this year. The details are top secret at the time of publishing, but you can bet your Christmas cracker it will be amazing. Head to their website for an update and to register for your free tickets.

Finally, no kids Christmas or parent’s photo album is complete without a yearly visit to the cookie loving, milk drinking, magic man in red – Santa! We’ve got it on good advice that the big guy and his reindeer are quarantine exempt and already in town, taking note of all your gift requests. We love Santaland at Myer in the Murray Street Mall because it has an interactive train. You’ll need to plan your visit this year and book ahead to avoid disappointment.
