Beat the heat
The forecast is in and it’s going to be a beautiful 30° day so you’ll definitely need all your SunSmart essentials. Keep the sun at bay with a hat and sunscreen and why not complete the look with a slick of zinc. Reapply often if you are splashing around at the Water Playground and don’t forget your towel.

Hydration is essential so be sure to pack a refillable water bottle – you’ll be able to refill these at drinking water stations, located on the map. An esky for your waste-free picnic is a great idea too, don’t forget the ice!

Chill in comfort
A picnic rug or chairs that can be folded up and carried away will have you relaxing in comfort. To enjoy the perfectly timed Skyworks Soundtrack, bring along an analogue radio tuned to Mix94.5

Shade structures are also allowed if they can be packed up and carried away with you. To ensure the best view for everyone we need all shade structures to be dismantled at dusk, so no one misses a moment of the spectacular show.

No way on Aus Day
To ensure the comfort and safety of all patrons there is a complete ban on all open flames, flares, barbecues and sparklers. Drones are also a definite no, so leave your drone at home.

Snap, Rattle and Pop!
Snap a picture and enter it in our photo comp for your chance to win a $500 voucher! Be sure to include hashtags #Skyworks2020 and #SkyworksPhotoComp.

Our volunteer team will be out in force so come prepared with a gold coin or two to support the City of Perth Bushfire Appeal. When you hear the rattle of the tin pop a gold coin in!
