Confluence: A Festival of India in Australia

Over the years, the festival has become a strong and resolute presence in Australia’s cultural calendar and has begun to closely engage with local Australian communities in both small towns and big cities along with the able Indian diaspora.

This year Confluence has partnered with iconic Australian festivals like JLF in Adelaide, the Oz Asia Festival in Adelaide, the Power of Peace Festival, and the Desert Song and Darwin Festivals, among others and will travel to Western Australia (Perth, nadurah), South Australia (Adelaide) & Queensland (Bundaberg).

One of India's leading musical acts, Advaita's music blends the intricacy and spirituality of Indian classical music with the energy and youthfulness of rock, pop and electronica to create what is at once traditional and modern.

Yoga & Guided Meditation - with Gilles Chuyen
A spiritually charged healing session that focuses on the wellness of mind, body and soul. Gilles is a renowned yoga and dance practitioner who has been associated closely with the Art of Living Foundation and conducts regular sessions in India.

Bollywood Dance Workshop - with Gilles Chuyen
The Bollywood Dance Workshop is all about being part of a high-energy and heady Bollywood dance experience. For two hours, participants learn dance routines created by Gilles set to popular Bollywood songs.
