St James Town Centre

Every Perth local knows the famous Albany Highway strip in Victoria Park with its bustling shops and eateries.

Keep heading east, however, and you’ll come to a quieter, more laid-back part of the Highway known as the St James Town Centre.

It’s an easygoing place to do your shopping (how often do you find a supermarket and Bunnings sausage sizzle for afterwards, side by side?!) with a few interesting retail gems.

Homecraft Textiles is an Aladdin’s cave of sequins and silk for the craft enthusiast, and locals flock to the Turkish Kitchen for hearty grilled meats and kebabs.
