The Story of Kooyar
For four nights only this September, Elizabeth Quay will become a giant open-air canvas as a towering water screen rises from the Derbarl Yerrigan (Swan River) for The Story of Kooyar, a free nighttime experience for all ages. Experience First Nations culture and storytelling through stunning visuals, roving performances, large-scale puppetry and dance.

All the secrets are buried between the oceans and the mountains is the first solo exhibition by acclaimed Western Australian artist Stormie Mills to be held at an Australian state gallery. To complement the exhibition, the team over at AGWA have created All the secrets, a contemplative room that invites you to pause and reflect. You are encouraged to write your secret down and then shred it. Stormie Mills will then transform these anonymous fragments into a new iconic artwork as part of a true collaboration between the artist and the people of Western Australia.
