World Cup 26 Live on Screen
Northbridge Piazza will transform into a live site where fans can come together to catch all the action, with every World Cup match broadcast on the big screen unless there is a scheduling clash.
Activations and entertainment
For key Australian matches broadcast live there will be a marquee, bean bags and family-friendly activities, delivered in partnership with Football West and Perth Glory.
The first Socceroos games to come and enjoy are:
| Sun 14 Jun, 12pm | Australia vs Turkey |
| Fri 26 Jun, 10am | Australia vs Paraguay |
Fan experience
Shelter, additional security, amenities and City of Perth staff coordinators will be available for all Australian games from 12am - 6am and World Cup Final.
All other screenings will be supported by a marquee and open amenities at Roe St Car Park.
Extended trading hours at nearby licensed venues will allow fans to continue the celebrations before and after games.
Live on Superscreen
As the world’s most-watched sporting event, the FIFA World Cup brings communities together like no other. The Northbridge Piazza live site offers Perth locals and visitors a memorable way to be part of the action—right in the city centre.
About the screening
The City of Perth Urban Screens host a variety of programs in Northbridge, from formal feature-film screenings with beanbag seating to casual sporting events, exhibitions, and short-film screenings. Live sporting screenings like this one are informal events without beanbag seating — visitors are welcome to relax on the Piazza’s lush lawn and savour Northbridge’s renowned culinary delights.
These free-to-the-public live screenings have no official affiliation with FIFA. The Northbridge Piazza Superscreen is an initiative of the City of Perth.
