Overview
Celebrating Kambarang, the sixth season in the Noongar calendar, the City of Perth Screens present two meditative 'slow TV' programs that transform the urban landscape with the colours, textures and rhythms of the season.
As the sun sets, the screen shifts to Yallingup Beach, where surfers bob among the waves as the sky transforms, inviting viewers to experience the season's shifting light over land and sea.
Kambarang, a season of flowering and awakening, signals the return of warmth after Djilba's cooler days. These screenings invite city dwellers and visitors to pause and reflect on the deep seasonal patterns of place.
The City of Perth Screens host a variety of events. At the Piazza, relax on the lawn, savour Northbridge's culinary delights or stroll James Street.
City of Perth Northbridge Piazza Superscreen & City of Perth Forrest Place Arts Screen are initiatives of the City of Perth.
