Perth Airport is well connected by train, bus, taxi and rideshare, with a scale that’s easy to navigate and never overwhelming. Just be sure to check which of the two main terminal precincts you’ll be travelling through, as the airport connection options differ slightly between T1/T2 and T3/T4.
Travel your way
If your flight arrives or departs from T1 or T2, you can hop straight on the Airport Line that runs regularly between Airport Central and Perth Station with a travel time of around 18 minutes.
Travelling to or from T3 or T4 by train requires a three-minute shuttle bus ride between the airport and nearby Redcliffe Station. From here, the Airport Line connects to Perth Station in 15 minutes. Look for Bus Route 292 outside the terminal precinct. This circular service operates 7 days a week and runs every 12 minutes during peak travel times.
Bus Route 940 runs 7 days a week between Elizabeth Quay Bus Station and Redcliffe Station along the Great Eastern Highway. From Redcliffe, Bus Route 292 connects to T3 and T4. To reach T1/T2, you’ll need to complete your journey by train with a three-minute ride on the Airport Line to Airport Central station.

Dedicated taxi ranks are easy to find at all Perth Airport terminals, with services provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by two trusted local taxi providers. Rideshare services, including Uber and DiDi, also have dedicated pick-up and drop-off areas right outside the terminals at both main precincts.
Private transfers, charter services and car hire are also available. Note that road travel times vary depending on traffic and time of day. Under normal traffic conditions, it’s a 20 to 30-minute ride between Perth CBD and the airport.
Road transfers by taxi, rideshare, or the airport's free terminal transfer bus will take you and your luggage from one main terminal precinct to the other in approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
