Overview
A piano virtuoso with unmistakable rhythmic drive, Tigran creates music that is both technically astonishing and emotionally resonant. His newest release, Manifeste, continues this trajectory, an expansive and uncompromising body of work exploring Armenian spiritual traditions through intricate rhythms, choral textures, electronics, and his signature pianism. Moving between explosive intensity and quiet introspection, the album is both deeply personal and universally affecting.
With praise from artists including Herbie Hancock, Brad Mehldau and Chick Corea, Tigran Hamasyan stands at the forefront of contemporary music – redefining what jazz can be. Presented at the Octagon Theatre, it's a rare opportunity to experience this fully immersive show.
