Overview
Follow the sound of falling water into one of Perth's prettiest hidden gardens. A lake, a waterfall and a rock cascade sit at the centre of this leafy West Perth pocket.
Spread out on the big lawns under trees first planted in 1900. City workers claim the shade at lunchtime, and locals bring the paper and a takeaway coffee on weekends.
Named for architect and former City of Perth Councillor Harold Boas, the gardens started life as Delhi Square before their 1976 redevelopment.
Getting here: Both the Green CAT and the Yellow CAT stop right outside, at the stop named Harold Boas Gardens. City West Station is a short walk away.
