Stretch out on one of the biggest open lawns in the city. Langley Park runs the length of Riverside Drive, right along Swan River/Derbarl Yerrigan.

Overview
Perth reclaimed this land from the river between 1921 and 1935. Aviation pioneer Major Norman Brearley then used it as an airstrip through the 1920s — planes took off where you now spread your picnic rug.
Today the park hosts some of Perth's big set-pieces. Between events, join a group fitness session on the grass, run the foreshore path, or walk east to Point Fraser for lunch.
