Overview

Planet Royale is Perth's all-in-one entertainment and function venue, bringing together a theatre, an arcade, a cocktail lounge and a diner in the former IMAX building in Northbridge.

At its heart is the Royale Theatre, an intimate 250-seat space with its own bar and a late licence. Its program runs from touring bands and comedy to cabaret, burlesque, circus and movie screenings.

Downstairs, the arcade is home to more than 50 pinball machines, one of the largest public collections in Australia, plus retro classics like Pac-Man and Galaga. Refuel with burgers, pizza and over-the-top milkshakes, or grab a cocktail at Major Tom's, our music-themed lounge.

Planning an event? Planet Royale hosts birthdays, work functions, product launches and private screenings for up to 500 guests. Hire a single space or take over the whole venue, with food, drinks and entertainment all under one roof.

Perth's one-stop destination for dining, entertainment and events. Open seven days from 11am.

Accessibility

Planet Royale is wheelchair accessible. The ground floor has step-free access to the arcade, restaurant and dining areas, and there's lift access to the Royale Theatre on Floor 1, with accessible toilets on the same level. Accessible seating is available in the theatre for most shows.

Parking

Parking is available right next door at the Roe Street car park, with a $5 flat night rate from 6pm, seven nights a week. Street parking is also available on the surrounding streets, and it's free after 6pm. Planet Royale is a short walk from Perth Station and Perth Busport, making public transport an easy option for a night out in Northbridge.
