Well Perth, it’s officially winter! Let’s hope the weather this week has cleared up after that wet and wild weekend because there’s heaps of events you don’t want to miss happening right across Perth.

Revealed Exhibition

Now – Sunday 14 June | PICA

As part of WA’s biggest celebration of Aboriginal art, Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists, returns to Boorloo (Perth) with an eight-week exhibition at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA). Showcasing the diversity, depth and cultural strength of Aboriginal art practices, Revealed transports audiences across the vast state of Western Australia—from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West—with works spanning painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture and weaving. 

Wellness Month

Now – 30 June | State Buildings

State Buildings is presenting a curated month of wellness throughout June, making it the perfect destination for winter restoration. Bringing together a considered mix of treatment, movement, ritual and nourishment, Wellness Month has been designed as a cohesive, precinct-wide program, allowing guests to engage in a way that feels both flexible and personal.

The Lester Prize 2026 Youth Awards

Now – 19 July | WA Museum Boola Bardip

The Lester Prize Youth Awards helps nurture the next generation of Australian portrait artists, encouraging high school students nationwide to explore creative expression, build confidence and allows them to share their stories with the wider community.

Lightscape

Now – 26 July | Kings Park

Step into a winter wonderland as Lightscape returns to Kings Park this June. Experience a dazzling new journey of spectacular large-scale installations, brand-new works by leading international artists and captivating creations from the Perth community. Wander glowing pathways, lose yourself in colour and music beneath the stars, and warm up along the trail with mulled wine, hot chocolate and delicious treats. 

Bird Years

Now – 22 August | Lawson Flats

Aster + Asha Gallery presents a solo exhibition by Western Australian artist, Anna Louise Richardson. Bringing together works from the last eight years, the show considers how birds have woven their presence through significant moments in the artist’s life.

Now – 13 September | AGWA

WA’s talented young artists are celebrated in this yearly showcase, gauging the pulse of young people who will influence, empower and shape the world we live in. The selected works provide a window into young people’s private, social and artistic concerns. It is an inspiring, rewarding and insightful look at the world through the minds of our most talented young artists.

Ocean Xperience

Now – 11 October | WA Museum Boola Bardip

Step into the world of National Geographic’s OceanXplorers and get ready for a hands-on ocean adventure the whole family can enjoy. Designed with families in mind, the experience invites children and adults to explore side by side. Through interactive play, storytelling, and immersive environments, visitors learn how researchers discover new species and explore some of the most remote parts of our oceans.  

Disney on Ice presents Magic in the Stars

Friday 12 – Sunday 14 June | RAC Arena

Don’t miss the magic of Disney on Ice when it skates into RAC Arena this June! Chart a course through the night sky to Disney On Ice, where every story starts with a wish! Take a magical journey with Mickey, Minnie, and friends through the timeless stories of Cinderella, Aladdin, Toy Story, and Cars, and today’s favourites including Encanto, Frozen 2, and Moana.

Friday 12 – Wednesday 17 June | State Theatre Centre
